The construction of fairlife's manufacturing facility in Webster, NY is underway. This state - of - the - art, 750k sq ft, greenfield plant is expected to be operational in late 2025 and will lay the foundation for fairlife's next phase of growth as the leading dairy nutrition provider. While coupling the industry's latest technologies and fairlife's operational excellence to build this world-class facility, fairlife plans to hire 250 new employees and bring in approximately 5 million lbs. of milk a day, with room to grow over the coming years.

job purpose:

The Maintenance Supply Supervisor will report to the Maintenance Manager. Under limited supervision, the Supervisor is responsible for planning and overseeing the work of the maintenance staff to ensure safe and efficient operations of the facility. The maintenance staff is tasked with the upkeep of buildings and grounds, as well as upkeep of machinery and processing equipment needed to operate and maintain the facility. In addition to directing the work of subordinates, the Supervisor may also be required to perform maintenance duties, as needed. The Supervisor monitors and adheres to operating policies and procedures in accordance with established company policy.

responsibilities:

STORES

Maintain sufficient inventories of tools, parts and supplies to properly maintain the facility and property.

Manages vendor & supplier relationships as a representative of the Maintenance group and Fairlife to best leverage costs and pricing, service response, and business support.

Directly supervise Maintenance Stores staff including Stores Lead, Parts Clerk, and Maintenance Procurement personnel

Maintain systems for monitoring and tracking purchase requests and orders, supplies and parts inventories, VMI, kitting processes, and vendor relationships.

Keep Stores areas in a neat, well-stocked, clean, organized manner, per company visual control, 7S, audit ready standards and programs.

Assist Maintenance Manager with preparation of yearly and monthly maintenance operating budgets in accordance with facility objectives. Work with Maintenance Manager to adhere to budgeted cost parameters.

Order and purchase supplies, equipment and contract work according to required purchasing and bidding procedures.

Ensure adherence to customer service standards.

Regularly inspects Stores property/grounds and ensures required maintenance and repairs are completed, as necessary.

PLANNER TEAM

Directly supervise Maintenance Planner staff. Work with Maintenance Manager to hire, train and develop Planner team according to company policy and procedure.

Oversees job planning functions of the group, ensuring plan quality, detail, and accuracy are to standards. Organizes and archives plans for future use.

Oversees scheduling of maintenance employees according to forecasted workloads.

Oversee and ensure the CMMS data is maintained and updated timely, accurately and promptly.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

skills/qualifications required:

High School Diploma or Equivalent. A bachelor's degree in a related discipline is preferred but not required.

Minimum 7 years relevant work experience in planning, maintenance discipline, and/or inventory control.

Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude

4 years of supervisory experience. Ability to analyze and assess training and development needs.

Computer Skills required:

CMMS systems

Spread sheet and Word Processing (Microsoft)

Project Management software (MS Project)

Able to communicate clearly and effectively with mechanics, operators, vendors, OEM suppliers, and management personnel.

Able to perform cost analysis and work within a structural budget.

Strong interpersonal communication skills, able to deliver a clear and concise presentation when required, can lead meetings, and can deliver hard conversations.

Systematic problem solver, implementing solutions to solve root cause.

Able to handle multiple complex priorities and balance the needs of each according to the business impact.

Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment

working conditions and physical requirements:

8 hours sitting/standing/walking

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Can reach up, bend, squat, reach out into shelving and lift objects, climb stairs multiple times every day

Exposure to hazards such as prolonged noise levels, flashing lights, hard floors, and near handrails/balconies. Atmospheric conditions exist such as hot & humid conditions.

Notify supervision of any repairs or adjustments that are required that may affect product quality or food safety.

Understand, observe, and comply with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy while in the Production Areas.

Perform all duties necessary to meet Company, Customer and/or Government requirements/standards as prioritized by the Company.

Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the product, processes, quality system, or safety system.

Identify and record any problems relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the ingredients, processes, quality system, or safety system.

Control further processing or delivery of nonconforming product in terms of Food Safety and Quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.

In the event of absence, another employee with the same skill level will assume the duties and responsibilities as required.

Base pay range:$88,000 — $96,000 USD
