At GXO Logistics, we’re constantly looking for ways to improve, enhance and adapt, so we need highly skilled individuals to help us navigate in an ever-changing marketplace. As the Associate Auditor, Internal Audit, you will perform internal audits and special projects by providing independent, objective assurance, education, and consulting services to promote an effective control environment. She/he will collaborate with the global audit team to identify and assess the risk areas to be reviewed. Additionally, she/he will be assisting with SOX testing globally.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Performs the audit activities, including participating in the audit scope & objectives, other audit procedures and tests.
- Document audit work in accordance with department, company, and Institute of Internal Auditors Standards to support audit findings and recommendations.
- Monitor audit findings, provide remediation recommendations, and manage follow-up of Management's actions plans.
- Apply critical thinking skills while developing audit programs and performing audit procedures in a very immature environment.
- Perform testing of SOX controls
- Collaborate with IT team members
- Build stakeholder relationships
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or equivalent related work or military experience
- Strong fluency of Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such as Word, excel and Power Point
- Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of SEC rules and regulations
It’d be great if you also have:
- 1-3 years of experience as an external or internal auditor
- A proactive and high-energy work style with a strong work ethic
- Experience in conducting audit projects as well as Sox testing
- Prior experience working with Big4
