Lead, Material Handler (Schedule: 3-2-2/Night Shift)

Operates gasoline-, liquefied gas-, or electric-powered industrial equipment equipped with lifting devices, such as sit-down, stand-up, clamp or other elevating equipment to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in distribution center or storage yard.
Responsibilities:
Supports, trains and certifies newly hired LTOsOperates industrial powered lift truck in a safe and efficient mannerIn the absence of the Shift Supervisor the Lead will act as Supervisor as neededInventories materials on work floor and supply workers with materials as neededAssists Supervisors and management of the facility in planning, assigning and directing workAssist LTO's with daily issuesAssist other Leads and Supervisors with ensuring that policies, procedures, and best practices are being followedFollow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Must be able to successfully complete post-hire assessments.Must be able to obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g. OSHA, company, etc.).Must be able to wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the work environment (e.g. protective footwear, protective eyewear, gloves, etc.) in accordance with safety policies.
