Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D) Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License Certifications: NRP, BLS/ALS, Advanced Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: - L&D experience - High-risk experience - Immediate newborn care Job Description: - Work in a 10-bed Maternal Fetal Medicine unit. - Collaborate with a team of 8 staff members. - Provide patient care with a ratio of 1:3-4. - Use of Baxter Pumps and Phillips electronic fetal monitoring. - Utilize Cerner and FetaLink for Electronic Medical Records. - Perform a variety of procedures including: - Vaginal deliveries - Cesarean sections - Dilation and curettage (D&C) - Cerclage - Cesarean hysterectomy (C-Hyst) - Float as needed to L&D/MOMB/NICU. - Follow the scrub color/attire guidelines provided. - Exhibit personality traits that are outgoing, friendly, and adaptable. - Experience in circulating is preferred.
