Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Miami, FL that is seeking a BSA/AML Compliance Analyst. Responsibilities:

Reviews and dispositions customer screening hits related to OFAC and other internal/external watch listsThe BSA/AML Compliance Analyst reviews and dispositions escalated transaction screening hits related to OFAC and other internal/external watch listsReviews and dispositions complex Venezuela-related transactions including analyzing supporting documentation as well as documents rationale explaining why there is no sanctions concernEnsure compliance with OFAC sanctions and investigate possible hits and escalate for further review and approval to management, and/or escalates unusual activity for possible investigation and Suspicious Activity ReportingAssists with carrying out system/watch list controls such as, but not limited to, validating SDN updates were done appropriately, and generating metrics to assist with managing the OFAC UnitReviews daily reconciliation reports and investigates any failures to ensure customers or transactions were screened by screening toolReviews and dispositions customer and transaction screening hits for ad hoc screening projectsConducts reviews related to internal lists clean-up projectIdentifies and uses appropriate investigative and or analytical technologies to achieve maximum efficiencies and effectivenessThe BSA/AML Compliance Analyst develops and participates in education, training, and awareness activities as part of the transaction monitoring programMaintains a good working relationship with and knowledge of business units and organizational groups within the bank

Requirements

1-3 years of experienceExtensive knowledge in BSA/AML Compliance and OFAC SanctionsKnowledge of Venezuelan-related sanctionsExperience clearing sanctions alertsDetail-oriented, diligent, and able to work under pressureAnalytical skillsIntermediate to advanced Excel skillsBilingual in English/SpanishPrior experience analyzing and clearing Transactions Monitoring alerts is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
