Travel Nurse RN - CVICU in Prescott, AZ

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Job Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Days Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Proficiency with IABP, CRRT, Fresh OHS from the OR - Ability to titrate drips such as Dex, Propofol, Dop, Neo, Epi, Levo, Insulin, Cardene - Impella experience desired - Successful completion of a dysrhythmia exam Job Description: - Work in a 12-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit with patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:1 based on acuity. - Care for patients with diagnoses like AMI, CAD, and PVD. - Collaborate with a Hospitalist and utilize department-wide respiratory therapy. - Operate equipment including vents, Bipap, Cpap, Vapotherm, and HiFlow. - Perform strip readings as RNs are required to read telemetry. - Adhere to weekend requirements, working two weekend shifts per pay period. - Comply with holiday and potential call or standby requirements. - Be flexible to float between MS/Tele/PCU/ICU based on the department's skill needs. - Dress in navy blue scrubs adhering to the unit's dress code. - Participate in unit/department-specific orientation. - Use the Cerner EMR system for charting and documentation. - Maintain professionalism under the guidance of Charge Nurse/House Supervisor.
