In addition to your base compensation, this position also offers:$20,000 Sign on bonus with one year commitment (paid $5,000 per quarter)Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans, plus flexible-spending and health- savings accountsCompetitive paid time off and extended illness bank package for full-time employeesIncome-protection programs, such as life, accident, critical-injury insurance, short- and long-term disability, and identity theft coverageTuition reimbursement, loan assistance, and 401(k) matchingEmployee assistance program including mental, physical, and financial wellnessProfessional development and growth opportunitiesDepartment/Unit Summary12 hour shifts6:45am-7:15p6:45p-7:15aThis unit accepts New GradsProvides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.Essential FunctionsPerforms plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.Documents patient care given.Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.Adherence to all core measure initiatives, patient safety goals, and NQF Safe Practices.About our Health SystemFrye Regional Medical Center is a 355 bed acute hospital located in Hickory NC and is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network committed to

Additional requirements include:Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.One year of experience preferredASLS certification preferred
