Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principal balance faster.Job SummaryThe Medical Laboratory Technician performs a variety of clinical laboratory tests, procedures and related duties.Utilizes scientific principles as well as technical, procedural, and problem-solving aptitudes for day-to-day laboratory technical operations, quality control, quality assurance, procedure/instrument maintenance and corrective action, test result correlation, and clinical laboratory related continuing education.Education and/or ExperienceAssociate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited two year-college program or technical school.Six months to one year of related experience or training preferred.Licensure/Certification/RegistrationCertification as Medical Laboratory Technician from the ASCP, AMT, or equivalent required within 12 months of hire.Work ScheduleWeekdays:Monday - Friday from 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm; Rotate every 3rd weekend/holidayWeekend Shift: 6:00 pm - 6:30 am72hrs/2wksPayThe hourly range for this position is listed below.
