We are currently seeking a
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
for a locum tenens position in a healthcare facility near Huntington, WV. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CRNA looking to make a significant impact in a variety of surgical settings while enjoying a flexible schedule.Position Overview:Start Date : ASAP - OngoingContract Length : 12 months, with the potential for extensionWork Hours : 40 hours per weekSchedule Options :
5 shifts of 8 hours (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)4 shifts of 10 hours (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM)3 shifts of 12 hours (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
No Call Shifts : Enjoy a work-life balance with no on-call responsibilities.Responsibilities:Provide anesthesia care for a diverse patient population, including both inpatient and outpatient settings.Work across three different hospitals located within five minutes of each other.Participate in various surgical procedures, including:
General SurgeryVascular SurgeryOrthopedic SurgeryUrologyPlasticsDentalInterventional RadiologyThoracic SurgeryPediatric SurgeryNeuro SurgeryCardiac SurgeryEndoscopy Procedures
Requirements:Board Certification : Must be certified by the NBCRNA.State License : West Virginia license required (no willingness to license).Certifications :
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)BLS (Basic Life Support)PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CRNA is required.Charting Experience : Familiarity with Cerner EMR is essential.Patient Demographics:The CRNA will work with patients of all ages, addressing various surgical needs in a supportive and collaborative environment.Benefits of This Position:Flexible Scheduling : With various shift options available, you can find a schedule that works best for you.
