Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Plastic Surgeon with a focus on burn and reconstruction procedures to join our practice in Bakersfield. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality care to patients and a strong desire to make a meaningful impact in the field of plastic surgery. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is looking to lead a practice and contribute to the success of our team.
Responsibilities:Lead the practice in providing burn and reconstruction procedures to patients in need of specialized care.Perform a wide range of plastic and reconstructive surgical procedures, including burn reconstruction, skin grafting, and scar revision.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients with complex reconstructive needs.Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients undergoing reconstructive procedures.Perform cosmetic procedures as needed, but the primary focus will be on burn and reconstruction cases.Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and best practices in plastic surgery and burn care.Participate in continuing medical education activities and maintain licensure and certification.Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.Board Eligible or Board Certified in Plastic Surgery.Experience in burn and reconstruction procedures preferred.Valid California medical license and DEA registration.Strong surgical skills and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Benefits:
