Requested Skill Set: 2 years’ experience in Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, high volume > 100,000 visit ED. Previous HCA experience preferred.Must have: 2 years’ experience as a nurse with at least 1-year experience in ER setting, teamwork mentality, ability to coach and give feedback in real time. Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED.Advanced skills needed: Procedures performed on unitSchedule Information
Every other weekend, can’t commit to block scheduling, scheduling must meet the needs of the dept.Unit Specific Information
Number of Beds: 101Patient Ratios: 4:1 typically- medical, up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holdsUnit staffing description: Techs available- work in cardiac monitoring unit and the internal processing area, triage, Unit clerks days and nightsType of equipment: baxter pumps, GE monitorsDocumentation system: CernerFloating policy: No floating outside of the ED but must be open to floating to all sections in the ED.Patient Experience requirements: AIDET, Respectful behavior, Pt Experience to each patient, Boards updated with info and pt updated throughout visitAdditional Details
