NC LicenseMinimum 2 years of experience required in last 5 yearsMust be able to take heparin dripsSkills: PCA. Colostomy Care, Feeding tube care and management. Blood product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral line care/management, phlebotomy. PICC line management, IV starts, *Active RN license required. Management of dysrhythmias, O2 Protocol Management, Non-invasive airway management, Peripheral line care/management, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Traumatic Brain injury, ortho trauma, surgucal drains, chest tubes- Emerson/Pleuravac, Nasal Cannula, Oral Suctioning, Tracheostomy Management, Wound careBLSACLS preferredInterpretation of dysrhythmias, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Management of drips, CVA, Pre/Post Neuro Surgery, Spinal cord injuries preferredEpic documentation experienceOther Details:

Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.RTO: 7 days MAXFloat Requirement: Floating to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatients holdingWeekend Requirement: Traveler will be assigned to every other weekendHoliday Requirement: Must be able to work 2 of 3 major holidays.PATIENT DIAGNOSES:Severe injury to the bones, joints, and/or soft tissue. Traumatic brain injuries. Spine injuries, pain. Neurological trauma/nerve damage (small population).
