A client of ours in Sherwood is looking to add a CNC Programmer on the Day Shift. This constantly growing company is looking for capable, flexible, and dependable candidates to add to their team. #1939ST
This is an evaluation to full-time hire position.
Duties:
Horizontal 4 axis experienceGenerates set-up documentation per department standards for machinists.Reviews 3D CAD design blueprints and CAD models, prepares geometric layout of designs using MasterCam.Makes calculations for programming including where materials should be cut.Translates instructions into a computer automated manufacturing (CAM) program.Determines sequence of operations, checks completed programs by running simulations or tests.Analyzes and selects speeds and cutting tools for programs.Analyzes job order and performs necessary calculations.Writes programs and modifies existing ones for increased efficiency.Analyzes and selects speeds and cutting tools for programs.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
High School Diploma.Associate degree in CNC programming, Machining, a computer-related field, or mechanical field (preferred).Knowledge of machine tools.3 to 5 years machining experience.Must have superior computer programming skills.Must be mechanically inclined.Knowledge of metal shop work.Must be highly detail oriented.Must have the ability to read blueprints and knowledge of GD&T and read complex spreadsheets.
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm
