TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Waterloo, Iowa, 50703 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: PM, 12 Hours Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week Experience: Not specified License: Required Certifications: Required Must-Have: - Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Epic - Flu and COVID vaccine required, with medical or religious exceptions accepted Job Description: - Work as a part of the Emergency Department team. - Provide care for patients with common diagnoses such as upper respiratory infections, chest pain, urinary tract infections, and trauma. - Assist with special procedures including chest tube placement and intubations. - Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:4 depending on patient needs. - Required to work every third weekend. - Must be available to cover 2 out of 3 holidays during the specified periods. - Ability to float as needed within skill set. - Participate in a 12-hour PM shift. - Provide high-quality nursing care while adhering to established protocols.
