Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education and experience as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.Salary:

As an LAC Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to consumers at the Link Access Center, including those in sobering and hold programs. You will assist in implementing treatment plans, maintaining a safe environment, and facilitating essential services—all while working closely with a team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:Client Care : Monitor and assist sobering and hold clients, ensuring their safety and well-being, while providing psycho-social interventions when needed.Service Delivery : Provide basic services such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and coordinating follow-up services with mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) programs.Medication Administration : Administer medications and perform basic nursing duties under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in compliance with state regulations.Treatment Plan Implementation : Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to implement Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and provide therapeutic interventions as prescribed.Discharge Planning : Facilitate discharge processes for clients, including completing necessary paperwork and coordinating follow-up care.Record Keeping : Maintain detailed, accurate electronic health records, documenting services, activities, and client progress as required by state and county regulations.Team Collaboration : Work with medical, rehabilitation, and social service staff to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for clients.Emergency Management : Lead or assist in managing behavioral emergencies, ensuring a secure and safe environment for clients and staff.How Success is Measured:You will effectively implement client service plans and ensure high-quality care.You will provide timely, accurate documentation of client care and interventions.Your ability to adapt in a team environment and collaborate with healthcare professionals will result in coordinated, client-centered care.You will create a stable and supportive environment, ensuring client safety and promoting recovery.Core Competencies:Nimble Learning : Adapt quickly to new situations and learn on the job.Integrity and Trust : Be honest and dependable, with a strong commitment to client care.Functional and Technical Skills : Apply knowledge of mental health and substance use services effectively.Cultivates Innovation : Think creatively to solve problems and improve client care.Action Oriented : Take initiative to support clients and team members.Interpersonal Savvy : Build positive relationships and communicate effectively with clients and staff.Plans and Aligns : Stay organized and focused to meet the needs of clients.Being Resilient : Remain calm and professional in challenging situations.Required Education and Experience:

Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) certification, meeting one of the following:

Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science field.A combination of at least three years of relevant work, education, or training.Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:Valid Oregon driver’s license and insurable driving record.Personal auto insurance (if clients are transported or agency business is conducted with a personal vehicle).Must maintain QMHA certification and CPR/First Aid certification throughout employment.Join our team
