Critical Care Transport EMT - Champaign

The Critical Care Transport EMT responds to emergency and non-emergency ambulance requests and provides a primary role of ambulance operations

Has assigned daily and weekly duties, such as cleaning of the ambulance(s) and equipment, to complete during work hours.

• Responds to emergency and non-emergency Critical Care transport requests to provide efficient and immediate transportation.
• Checks and monitors ambulance(s) readiness.
• Clearly communicates crew and vehicle position at all times
• Cleans ambulances and crews quarters daily.
• Operates ambulance during transport of CCT patients to the hospital and/or while responding to or returning from a call
