Salary: $70,000 - $95,000 per year

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a fast-paced legal environment, working on complex litigation cases. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive litigation support, including legal research, discovery process, case investigation, trail preparation, scanning, cataloging, ESI processing and more. Experience with iConect Xera is preferred, and we particularly welcome applicants with a background in construction litigation or government contract. This position demands a high level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive litigation support to attorneys, including legal research, case investigation, and trail preparation.
2. Manage the discovery process, ensuring all relevant documents and evidence are properly identified, collected, and preserved.
3. Assist with large scale complex litigation, including the coordination of multiple parties, documents, and timelines.
4. Utilize iConect Xera or equivalent software for efficient management of case files and documents.
5. Handle ESI processing and LAW PreDiscovery, ensuring all electronic evidence is properly processed and preserved.
6. Carry out scanning and cataloging of relevant documents, maintaining an organized and accessible filing system.
7. Contribute to case strategy discussions, offering insights and suggestions based on thorough understanding of the case and relevant laws.
8. Communicate effectively with all parties involved in the litigation process, including clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in construction litigation or government contract.
2. Proficiency in iConect Xera or equivalent litigation support software.
3. Extensive experience with the discovery process, large scale complex litigation, and trail preparation.
4. Strong legal research skills and familiarity with various legal databases and research tools.
5. Proven experience with ESI processing and LAW PreDiscovery.
6. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal information.
8. High degree of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
9. Paralegal certification from an accredited program is preferred.
10. Must be a team player with a proactive attitude and ability to work independently when needed.
