Job Details

Currently they are looking to bring on board another Project Manager with mechanical contracting experience for projects in the Tampa and St. Petersburg areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all phases of mechanical HVAC projects from initiation to completion
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Coordinate with teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met
  • Monitor progress and performance against established objectives, timelines, and budgets
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues in a proactive manner
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide regular updates on project status and address concerns
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, industry best practices, and company policies
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes and outcomes
  • Participate in project review meetings, lessons learned sessions, and post-project evaluations
  • Mentor and coach junior team members to foster their professional growth and development
  • Review and approve RFI's and submittals
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is progressing according to plan

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in MEP Project Management
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • Experience in project management within the mechanical engineering or construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems design, HVAC, plumbing, and/or industrial processes
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work effectively under pressure
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities
