Job Details
  • Create detailed designs, schematics, and technical drawings using SolidWorks.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for new projects and modifications.
  • Utilize the Creaform Black Elite Series 3D Scanner for accurate 3D scanning and design validation.
  • Lead engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.

  • Monitor timelines and budgets, making necessary adjustments to stay on track.
  • Analyze systems and processes to identify opportunities for enhancement.
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve efficiency, performance, and safety.
  • Perform calculations and simulations to validate designs and predict system behavior.
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of systems, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Create and implement maintenance schedules to guarantee reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
  • Ensure all designs and installations adhere to relevant codes and standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to minimize hazards.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical reports and project documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of design changes, maintenance activities, and equipment performance.
  • Present findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
  • Engage in initiatives to enhance design processes and practices.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in design engineering.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree or Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of design engineering experience in an industrial setting.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks for CAD design and modeling.
  • Experience with 3D scanning technology, particularly Creaform Black Elite Series.
  • Strong grasp of engineering design principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Strong project management capabilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of relevant engineering codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI).
