Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Senior Underwriter to join our dynamic team. This role is an integral part of our organization, where you will be responsible for underwriting complex accounts and helping to shape our risk management strategy. You will be working closely with our clients to provide them with comprehensive, customized insurance solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about insurance underwriting and is looking to take their career to the next level.

Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluating and underwriting complex insurance risks in the areas of D&O, errors and omissions, and cyber liability.
  2. Assisting in the development and implementation of underwriting strategies and guidelines.
  3. Collaborating with our sales and client services teams to ensure that our clients receive the best possible service and solutions.
  4. Maintaining a deep understanding of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics.
  5. Providing mentorship and guidance to junior underwriters.
  6. Participating in client meetings and industry events to represent our company and build relationships with key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Underwriter, Specialty Underwriter, or a similar role.
  2. Proven experience in underwriting D&O, errors and omissions, and cyber liability policies.
  3. Strong analytical skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on detailed analysis.
  4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  5. A deep understanding of insurance law and regulations.
  6. The ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  7. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  8. A bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred.
