We are seeking a talented Environmental Law Attorney to join our highly regarded team.
You will be a key player in our Environmental Practice, focusing on environmental law, environmental litigation, and environmental regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on a broad range of environmental matters, including permitting, compliance, enforcement, and transactional issues related to federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations.
- Represent the organization in environmental litigation cases, including the preparation of legal documents, conducting discovery, and representing the organization in court.
- Work closely with various business units to ensure the organization's compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on environmental laws and regulations to ensure the organization's operations are in compliance.
- Develop and implement strategies to manage and minimize the organization's environmental risks.
- Negotiate and draft legal documents related to environmental issues, such as permits, agreements, and contracts.
- Provide training to the organization's employees on environmental laws and regulations.
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Ideally a minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental law, environmental litigation, and/or environmental regulatory compliance.
- Admission to the PA state bar.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in representing organizations in environmental litigation cases.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills.
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
