Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 per year
A bit about us:We are a boutique accounting firm located in Port Washington, NY, is looking for a Senior Audit Associate to join our team. The candidate would be responsible for the execution of the audit plan, ensures high audit quality, and participate in all aspects of the audit from developing the audit plan to the completion of deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Direct the planning, organization, scheduling, and review of assigned engagements.
- Performance of audit procedures on complex audit areas.
- Perform a preliminary review of financial statements and/or preliminary analytics and recognize potential audit issues or unusual relationships that may require adjustment to the audit plan or clarification from the client.
- Review audit working papers of the audit staff.
- Oversee preparation of audit reports, including financial statements and management letters.

- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience working with US GAAP.
- 2 (or more) years of recent experience with a public accounting firm.
