We are seeking a highly skilled, dedicated, and experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is a permanent, full-time position within our construction industry business. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving our industrial equipment. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about problem-solving, have a keen eye for detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

Responsibilities:

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Performing regular inspections of equipment and machinery to identify any faults or issues and ensure optimal performance.
2. Troubleshooting and repairing any mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic issues that may arise.
3. Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams to ensure proper installation and maintenance of equipment.
4. Conducting calibration of tools and equipment to ensure accurate measurements and functionality.
5. Performing electrical troubleshooting to solve any issues with wiring, circuits, or electrical controls.
6. Ensuring that all maintenance and repair work is done in compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
7. Proposing improvements to the production process to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
8. Documenting all maintenance work and reporting any persistent issues to the management team.
9. Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay updated with industry trends and advancements.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or a similar role in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience with pneumatics, calibration, electrical troubleshooting, wiring, electrical controls, and schematics.
3. A strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in the construction industry.
4. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
6. A high level of physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy machinery and equipment.
7. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to different job sites if required.
8. A professional certification in Industrial Maintenance or a related field would be an asset.
