Salary: $170,000 - $230,000 per year

Bootstrapped and profitable fintech startup is looking to bring on an experienced Full Stack Engineer in our San Francisco HQ!

We are at around $15M in ARR with our established product line, and are investing heavily in the growth of our next product. This role will be focused on the new product, working with a small team doing full stack development.

The growth of LLMs over the past several years has accelerated our roadmap and allowed us to expand our product development with a much smaller team than previously thought.

We are heavy users of LLMs (Cursor, Claude 3.5 Sonnet, and now OpenAI o1-preview) across both product and internal development.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of our cutting-edge financial systems and applications. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable, robust, and user-friendly web applications using Vue.JS, Tailwind CSS, Golang, Docker, PostgreSQL, and other technologies.
• Work closely with our development team to design and implement end-to-end solutions for our financial systems.
• Leverage your knowledge of AWS, ECS, RDS, Fargate and more to optimize our cloud-based infrastructure and services.
• Utilize LLMs, including Cursor, Anthropic, Claude 3.5 Sonnet, and other tools to manage large volumes of data efficiently and effectively.
• Develop and maintain APIs to ensure seamless integration of our systems and applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to best practices and company standards.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our systems remain cutting-edge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Vue.JS, Tailwind CSS, Golang
• Docker, PostgreSQL, AWS, ECS, RDS, Fargate,
• REST API development experience
• LLMs, Cursor, Anthropic, Claude 3.5 Sonnet, API Development, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Strong understanding of the financial industry and its regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
• Passion for technology and a strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
