We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position, where you will be involved in a wide range of projects, from the design phase through to completion. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, including infrastructure design, site development, and public works projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and a passion for problem-solving.
Responsibilities
As a Civil Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing detailed designs for civil engineering projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Overseeing and managing all stages of the project lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to implementation and completion.
- Conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments, and providing strategic solutions to any potential issues.
- Collaborating with architects, contractors, construction managers, engineers, and other team members to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Preparing and presenting detailed reports and project updates to stakeholders.
- Ensuring all projects comply with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Providing technical advice and resolving complex engineering problems.
- Supervising and mentoring junior engineers and other technical staff.
- Continually updating skills and knowledge to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Civil Engineer.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Valid Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and best practices.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Superior problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations, building codes, and legal requirements.
