Job DetailsDay to Day:
- Represent clients who have suffered personal injuries in legal proceedings, advocating for their rights and best interests.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support cases, using a variety of sources to gather and analyze information.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, striving to achieve the best possible outcome.
- Manage all aspects of personal injury litigation, from initial client consultation to final resolution.
- Handle a high volume of personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents and premises liability.
- Stay abreast of current laws and regulations related to personal injury law, ensuring compliance in all legal proceedings.
- Collaborate with other legal professionals, including paralegals, legal assistants, and other attorneys, to effectively manage cases and deliver superior client service.
- Participate in continuing legal education to enhance knowledge and skills in personal injury law.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury law, with a focus on motor vehicle accidents and premises liability.
- Strong knowledge of Personal Injury Protection (PIP) laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in litigation, with a strong track record of successful case outcomes.
- Exceptional legal writing and research skills, with the ability to draft and review complex legal documents.
- Excellent negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to achieve favorable settlements for clients.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and other legal professionals.
- High level of professional ethics and integrity.
- Ability to handle a high volume of cases, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning in personal injury law.
