A Corrections facility is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.Fall in love with the heart of Wisconsin. Head to the top of Rib Mountain State Park for great landscape views or visit the endangered wildlife at the Necedah National Wildlife Refuge.The schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM or 4 PM for 10-hour shifts. The patient population consists of adult males in minimum security. The EMR system used is Cerner, with extensive training provided. Required certifications include BE/BC, BLS, DEA, a WI license, and three references (two from supervisors). The role involves handling procedures for injuries, acute illnesses, follow-ups, and physicals within a corrections setting.
