Salary: $100,000 - $160,000 per year

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are seeking a Permanent Associate Attorney with expertise in Insurance Defense to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge in the field and a commitment to providing top-notch legal support to our clients. This role will involve handling a diverse caseload, working collaboratively with our team, and advocating for our clients in a variety of insurance defense matters.

- Actively manage and drive cases from inception to resolution, including trial preparation and trial.
- Conduct legal research and provide legal analysis on complex issues in insurance defense, ideally construction background.
- Regularly communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
- Provide strategic legal advice and guidance on a wide range of insurance defense matters.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent client service.
- Collaborate with legal team to develop strategies for complex cases.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the California Bar and in good standing.
- A minimum of 1-6 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
- Proven experience in discovery, drafting motions, and cross complaints.
- Strong knowledge of litigation process and experience in managing a high-volume case load.
- Experience in construction and premises liability is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
