Leading Software company is seeking a Lead QA Analyst to join its team in Cincinnati, OH.

Hybrid work schedule - 2 to 3 day a week in our Cincinnati, OH office

Summary:

As a Quality Assurance Engineer Lead, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing the reliability, functionality, and quality of our warehouse execution software. A successful candidate will support the product through manual testing and development of automated tests to catch bugs and resolve them.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development, testing and deployment of our software product
  • Identify, report, and track software defects using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira
  • Plan tests to acceptance criteria from functional requirements and manually execute test scenarios to pass them
  • Mentor Junior QA members and assist with debugging
  • Triage bugs and help debug if they are stuck to figure out the bugs validity
  • Write and generate automate tests for functional, regression, integration and performance testing
  • Create and maintain documentation including test cases, test data, and reports to ensure traceability and transparency

Job Details

Qualifications:

  • Business or technical degree in Computer Science, software engineering, or a similar field is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills

Professional Experience:

  • 3+ years’ of software testing
  • 2+ year of development
  • Experience with SQL, SOAP, API, XML, REST
  • Experience with API integration
  • Experience with WMS / WES software platforms
  • Proven portfolio of projects

Other Experiences:

  • Experience supporting and developing Warehouse control systems is preferred
  • Experience with C#, React, Java, or Selenium preferred
  • Experience with coordinating and collaborating with cross functional teams through multiple pieces of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Detailed understanding of logistics and IT processes
