Are you a seasoned Pipefitter looking for a unique opportunity to apply your skills in a new industry? Our firm is seeking a Permanent Pipefitter to join our dynamic team in the finance industry. This is a rare chance to combine your expertise in plumbing systems with the thrilling, fast-paced world of finance. You will be working in a challenging and innovative environment where your skills will be utilized to their full potential. The ideal candidate for this role is a highly experienced professional with a solid background in pipefitting, who is ready to step out of their comfort zone and bring their expertise to an unconventional field.

Responsibilities:

As our Permanent Pipefitter, your duties will include but are not limited to:

  1. Installing, assembling, fabricating, maintaining, repairing, and inspecting piping systems in accordance with the highest industry standards.
  2. Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and drawings to understand the layout of plumbing systems and water supply networks.
  3. Collaborating closely with our team of financial experts to understand the specific needs of our industry and adapt your work accordingly.
  4. Ensuring the functionality and efficiency of our plumbing systems, which play a critical role in our day-to-day operations.
  5. Identifying and resolving potential issues before they escalate, ensuring the smooth running of our operations.
  6. Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations, maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
  7. Conducting regular maintenance checks and performing necessary upgrades to optimize the performance of our plumbing systems.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate for this role will have:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role.
  2. Proven expertise in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems.
  3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
  4. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  5. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  6. A deep commitment to adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  7. A willingness to adapt and learn new skills, with an openness to the unique demands and opportunities of the finance industry.
  8. A valid plumbing license or certification would be an added advantage.
