Your future duties and responsibilities:
Internal Client Relationship & Business Development Support• Serve as the primary point of contact for all procurement-related matters within the SBU/BU, acting as a trusted advisor.• Develop and maintain strong relationships with SBU/BU leaders, aligning procurement activities with global strategy and programs.• Partner with stakeholders to develop innovative procurement strategies, supply arrangements and negotiating plans to deliver value for money outcomes• Support business development activities with third-party providers to meet internal client needs.• Represent CGI's procurement practices in client interactions when needed.• Apply the Third Party Management Framework to ensure compliance, manage risk and improve procurement activity and performance
Service Delivery• Develop and implement annual global sourcing strategies and plans for the SBU.• Deliver strategic analytics (KPIs) periodically to provide insights into procurement performance.• Ensure high-quality service delivery from the global procurement team to the SBU/BUs.• Recommend CSR and financial risk mitigation plans, following up until resolution.• Assist in bid support for third-party requirements, subject to qualifying criteria.• Execute sourcing activities for the SBU/BUs as needed.• Provide guidance to the business on procurement challenges, issues, and negotiations with third parties.• Support sales teams in forming local procurement alliances with key partners and promote the benefits of global partner agreements.• Demonstrate proactive leadership, ownership, and accountability for procurement activities within the SBU.• Build and maintain strong relationships with SBU/BU leaders and Corporate Services to become the recognized procurement expert in the SBU.• Manage and optimize spending within the assigned contract, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or service.
Operations Management• Update preferred supplier information for the SBU on the Global Procurement Intranet Page.• Support mergers and acquisitions for the procurement tower.• Support ISO and internal audits at the SBU level and follow up on management commitments.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Bachelors degree plus five years of directly related experience or additional experience in lieu of education. Experience in procurement strategy, sourcing, supplier, and stakeholder management. Experience in Business Operations as a Service Delivery Manager or Client Engagement Manager. In addition:• Strong ability to drive value and model outcomes based on business requirements.• Understanding of business operations and the ability to translate business needs into procurement elements.
Stakeholder Management/Relationship Management• Highly effective at building relationships at senior levels; strong influencing skills and credibility with stakeholders and colleagues.• Capable of addressing customer needs effectively, maximizing synergy and leverage across CGI to promote profitable growth.
Strategic Vision & Planning• Ability to understand supply markets and business needs to identify and exploit opportunities for spend optimization.• Able to enhance the adoption and compliance of procurement programs.• Strong data mining and data management skills; able to anticipate future needs.
Financial Skills• Solid understanding of P&L and business figures logic.• Ability to apply a broad understanding of financial management principles to ensure decisions are financially responsible.
Other Competencies• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Able to work under pressure, demonstrating autonomy, initiative, and rigor.• Knowledge of procurement systems (Oracle Eproc is an asset).
DesiredExperience in a Vendor Contract Management Office (VCMO) or in Supplier Contract Management. Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $76,300 - $202,700."
