Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Intermediate Care (IMC) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: 2 years required, travel experience preferred License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: Required certifications in relevant specialties Must-Have: Travel experience Job Description: - Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care Unit, focusing on adult and geriatric populations.- Respond to emergencies and provide specialized care for patients with conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, Sepsis, Acute Respiratory Failure, Atrial Fibrillation with RVR, and post-operative CABG care.- Conduct thorough assessments, implementing care plans and evaluating patient responses.- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.- Utilize Medhost Electronic Health Records (EHR) system for documentation.- Display adaptability with floating requirements to Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, including handling emergency department admits.- Work under the supervision of unit leaders to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care.- Engage in continuous learning and development to remain current with nursing practice standards.Join our team to work in an accredited community hospital and regional referral center, surrounded by beautiful mountain and lake scenery.
