Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 per year

We are seeking a motivated Application Engineer to enhance customer experiences with our range of products, including lasers, punches, press brakes, system software, and material handling solutions. This role involves site visits, troubleshooting, programming assistance, training, and optimization of machine operations. The engineer will also maintain comprehensive service reports and adhere to safety regulations. We live and breathe fabrication technology and have over 20 years of experience working with large and small manufacturers. We can specify, design, procure, and install the perfect machine for just about any application.

Job Details

Qualifications:

Degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in applications, and installations (minimum 5 years).

Proficiency in basic computer and CNC programming skills.

Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

Deep knowledge of Trumpf applications

Sheet metal experience

Responsibilities:

Conduct site visits to understand customer processes and needs.

Experience working on lasers, press brakes, punches, system software, and material handling solutions for processing sheet metal and structural steel.

Troubleshoot and provide recommendations for product optimization.

Assist customers with unique programming issues and training.

Ensure customer satisfaction through positive interactions.

Instruct customers on machine operations, maintenance, and safety.

Maintain detailed service reports and follow safety protocols.

Complete necessary training and stay informed on product applications.

Provide technical advice to optimize software and machine efficiency.
