Job Details:

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced 3rd Shift Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will be responsible for managing and overseeing our manufacturing operations during the third shift. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our production goals are met without compromising on quality or safety. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-tech environment and is not afraid to take charge when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the daily operations of the third shift, ensuring that all manufacturing processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
• Coordinating with the first and second shift supervisors to ensure seamless transitions between shifts.
• Monitoring production output to ensure that deadlines and targets are met, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensuring that all production equipment is properly maintained and functioning optimally.
• Enforcing safety and health regulations to create a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
• Training and mentoring production employees, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to enhance productivity and quality.
• Collaborating with other departments such as Quality Control, Engineering, and Logistics to resolve any issues that may impact production.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing new strategies to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Managing and resolving any employee issues or conflicts that arise during the third shift.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and industry best practices.
• Proven experience in managing a team and fostering a positive work environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work during the third shift (night shift) and be on-call as needed.
• Strong commitment to ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
• Proven track record of improving efficiency and productivity within a manufacturing setting.
