Job Details

Are you a Tax Manager looking to transition away from client-facing work? Do you have expertise in Partnerships or the Professional Services industry? If so, we’d love to connect with you!

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the CFO to deliver detailed tax reports and analysis, while providing tax-related guidance to other departments.
  • Prepare and file the firm’s federal, state, and local tax returns.
  • Prepare and file the principals’ individual federal and state tax returns, including quarterly estimated payments.
  • Offer advice on partnership agreements and their associated tax implications.
  • Stay up-to-date with current tax regulations to ensure compliance and develop tax strategies to minimize liabilities for both the firm and its principals.
  • Oversee tax reporting and compliance, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Handle inquiries from tax authorities and resolve issues as they arise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 7-10 years of experience in tax management, focusing on partnership and individual taxation.
  • Strong understanding of tax issues specific to professional services firms.
