Job Details

A well-established rehabilitation and sports therapy company is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide temporary coverage for a 10-week maternity leave. The ATC will be responsible for covering all High School events and practices during this period. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Athletic Trainer to work in a dynamic environment and support the health and performance of student-athletes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive athletic training services, including injury prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for student-athletes.
  • Attend all high school practices, games, and events to ensure the safety and well-being of athletes.
  • Develop and implement injury prevention programs tailored to the needs of student-athletes.
  • Collaborate with coaches, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and reports for each athlete.
  • Educate athletes, coaches, and parents on injury prevention, treatment protocols, and safe exercise techniques.

Requirements:

  • Must be a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) with a valid NATA certification.
  • Previous experience working with high school athletes is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to attend events outside regular hours, including evenings and weekends.
