Job Details:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and passionate Permanent Lead DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced and innovative technology team. This exciting opportunity will allow you to be a part of a startup environment where your ideas and contributions directly influence the growth and success of our organization. As the Lead DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing the deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of our cloud-based production system. You will be working in a highly collaborative team environment that encourages you to perform at your best, and challenges you to engineer elegant solutions for complex business problems.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design and implementation of build, release, deployment, and configuration activities.
2. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices and improvements in DevOps processes.
3. Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on AWS and Azure.
4. Develop and maintain an efficient operations process that includes metrics reporting and platform performance.
5. Manage and maintain tools to automate operational processes.
6. Ensure the scalability, performance, and resilience of our system.
7. Collaborate with developers to make sure new environments meet requirements and conform to best practices.
8. Prioritize requests from operations and development teams fairly while demonstrating a sense of empathy.
9. Leverage Jenkins for deployment of applications to the cloud environment.
10. Lead the daily maintenance and troubleshooting of the company’s existing cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role or similar software engineering role.
3. Experience with startup environments is highly desirable.
4. Proficiency in using Jenkins as a continuous integration tool.
5. Strong experience with cloud services such as AWS and Azure, including managing sensitive assets.
6. Excellent knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, etc.
7. Solid understanding of networking, storage, and virtualization.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex systems with minimal supervision.
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
