Job Details

Responsibilities:

Represent clients in all aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.

Handle landlord-tenant disputes, including rent stabilization and rent control matters, eviction proceedings, and lease negotiations.

Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.

Provide strategic legal advice to clients on real estate and landlord-tenant matters.

Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and trials.

Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management.

Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing personalized attention and expert guidance.

Stay current with changes in real estate and landlord-tenant law and industry trends.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Admission to the New York State Bar.

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in real estate and landlord-tenant law.

Strong litigation skills and experience in handling court appearances and trials.

Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to providing exceptional client service.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
