Salary: $200,000 - $260,000 per year

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team in the healthcare industry. The CFO will play a critical role in the strategic decision-making processes as we continue to enhance our quality programming and build capacity. Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process; administer and review all financial plans and compare to actual results with a view to identify, explain, and correct variances as appropriate.
- Support the CEO in engaging the board's audit and finance committees around issues and trends in financial operating models and delivery.
- Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, regulatory requirements, and audit requirements.
- Maintain internal control safeguards and coordinate all audit activities.
- Manage cash flow and forecasting; direct all financial, project-based, and departmental accounting.
- Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and the finance committee of the board of directors.
- Implement, manage, and maintain the 340B Drug Pricing Program.
- Oversee and ensure the organization's revenue cycle is managed effectively to maintain financial stability.
- Develop and implement financial management strategies and practices that enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop and implement strategies across the organization.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a B.A. in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
- At least 5 years of overall professional experience; ideally 6+ years of broad financial experience, including gathering and evaluating financial information and making actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
- Experience working in a non-profit or not-for-profit organization is a must.
- Experience in a senior financial-management role, partnering with executive staff, resulting in the development and implementation of creative financial management strategies.
- Significant experience in or knowledge of nonprofit accounting, including sophisticated fund and grant accounting, compliance, and reporting.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the Office of Management and Budget Circular A133 audit.
- Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Strong mentoring, coaching experience to a team with diverse levels of expertise.
- Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to operate as an effective tactical as well as strategic thinker.
- Experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to senior management, board, or other outside partners.
