We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Assurance Director to join our team. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role is integral to our company's success, making significant contributions to our manufacturing processes, from sourcing ingredients to the final product. Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality assurance systems in alignment with GFSI Food Safety and Quality Systems, SQF BRC FSMA GFSI.
  • Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
  • Lead the investigation of quality issues and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Train and mentor team members on quality assurance processes and standards.
  • Oversee the production of sauces, salad dressings, and condiments, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Regularly report to senior management on quality assurance matters and projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality assurance leadership role in the manufacturing industry, preferably in food manufacturing.
  • Thorough knowledge of GFSI Food Safety and Quality Systems, SQF BRC FSMA GFSI.
  • Proven experience in managing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Experience in the production of sauces, salad dressings, and condiments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using quality assurance software and other related tools.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
