Description: Karpel Solutions is seeking a highly motivated System Engineer to join our IT team. In this role, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive support for our client's desktop, server, and cloud environments, as well as Microsoft 365 services and products. Ensuring that clients have minimal downtime and optimal computing experiences by performing remote and on-site monitoring, maintenance and troubleshooting activities.Requirements:

ResponsibilitiesManage and administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Azure ADImplement and enforce Microsoft 365 security policies and best practices, such as MFA and conditional accessTroubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to Windows desktop, server, Microsoft 365, software, network, and infrastructure related issuesDocument and maintain system configurations, procedures, and standardsManage user accounts, permissions, and access controls within Active DirectoryPerform system administration tasks, including patching, updates, and configuration managementMonitor system health and identify potential issues proactivelyConfigure, monitor, and validate regular system backups to ensure data integrity and recovery capabilitiesAnalyze incoming emails for potential phishing attempts or threats and educating users on best practices for email securityCollaborate with other IT professionals and vendors to ensure seamless integration of systems and servicesParticipates in ongoing training and attainment of manufacturer certifications to further develop your technical skillsDevelops and maintains relationships with customers that further develop our company's positive reputation through exceptional customer service.Develop personal skills to work individually efficiently and effectively and as a member of the Technical Services teamDetailed and precise recording of time spent on solving problemsOther duties as assigned by the Director

QualificationsAssociate's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experienceAt least 3 years of experience in supporting Microsoft 365 administration and servicesAt least 3 years of experience in supporting Windows OS desktops and laptopsStrong knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, services, and devices, such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Azure AD, Intune, AutopilotExperience with Microsoft Azure Virtual server, Hyper V, Scale, and VMware virtualizationExperience with troubleshooting, configuring, and supporting small to enterprise level Active Directory environmentsExperience with implementing and administration of enterprise switches, firewalls, routers, and wireless access systemsKnowledge of networking concepts, computer components, LAN/WAN, browsers, and mobile devicesAbility to travel from one site to another during day or night depending on project or onsite jobTeam player with the ability to conduct work with utmost confidentiality and professionalismExcellent communication skills with a customer service orientation and an ability to work well with all levels of the organizationAble to demonstrate professional and empathetic behavior in the resolution of both routine and complex customer problemsManage multiple high priority initiatives in a fast paced, highly technical environmentHighly self-motivated and organizedKeen attention to detailExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExperience with ConnectWise Manage and ConnectWise Command (formally Continuum) a plusManaged Services experience a plusRelevant technical certifications are a plus
