Outpatient Phlebotomist, PRN

Description:RESPONSIBLE FOR: Performs a range of duties to include but not limited to patient registration, ordering tests, specimen procurement and specimen processing. Qualifications:MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:High School diploma or GED required.MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:No experience required.MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:None.ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:One year of phlebotomist experience preferred. Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA or equivalent agency is preferred. Experience in a hospital is preferred. Completion of Phlebotomy clinical training through on the job training or through a phlebotomy program preferred.
