Southland HoldingsLake Worth , FLA Southland Holdings company is looking for a experienced Crane Operator to join our team on a large roadway project.**Required license or nationally accredited certification: NCCCO (CCO) or NCCER certification required.**
DUTIES:•Safe operation of a Crane -
Handling and/or moving materialHandling concrete piles experience required or whatever sounds appropriateMaintain daily logs of equipment usage, maintenance.Daily maintenance of equipment-Identify, report and correct hazardsPerform tasks maintaining all health, safety and environmental rules and ensure all work is done in a manner which enhances the safety of the work environmentRead locate sheets and possible underground and/or overhead utilitiesAnalytical and problem solving skillsREQUIREMENTS:
Required license or certification: NCCCO certifications required.Must be physically capable of navigating rugged terrain for the purpose of performing the duties outlined above.Must work in all weather conditions and be prepared for both extreme heat and coldKnowledge of sub-base materials and aggregation placement and compactionKnowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures including but not limited to backing up procedures, use of flagmen and spotters, signage, incident reporting, required personal safety equipment and lifting of heavy loadsKnowledge of underground and overhead services and articulationKnowledge of the excavator/backhoe loading requirements; load charts; critical picks-Exceptional attendance recordMust pass post offer drug screen
