Performs any combination of following tasks to receive, store, and distribute material, tools, equipment, and products withinestablishments:

Reads production schedule, customer orders, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine itemsto be moved, gathered, or distributed.

Conveys materials and items from receiving to production areas or to other designated areas by hand,hand truck, or forklift.

Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Assemblescustomer orders from stock.

Uses computer to enter shipping information, access production information, and uses computer for data entry.Ensures raw materials are properly stored in their designated storage locations and are neatly and safely organized.Qualifications:REQUIREMENTS AND EDUCATION

High School diploma, G.E.D. Or 1 to 3 years manufacturing experience.

Valid Alabama Drivers license and be at least 18 years of age or older.Ability to apply basic mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide.Good communication skills. Excellent use of the English language including reading, writing, and speaking.

Ability to use computer to access information required, retrieve necessary information, and perform some data entry.

The ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Must be aware and adhere to all company and departmental safety procedures and policies.

Ability to work on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts.

Prior experience operating a fiddler forklift, controlling operations of handling equipment andsystems preferred.

Demonstrated history of safe work practices and the ability to use good judgment.

The ability to judge which of several objects is closer or farther away from the observer, or to judge the distance between an object and the observer.

The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong and correct prior to the safety of associates, area, or building being jeopardized.ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsible for all facility peripheral 6S.

Utilizes floor cleaning equipment.

Repairs damaged tape and floor coatings

Replaces work cell cleaning supplies when required.
