Rate: $60-$75/hr on W-2

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Solutions Architect to enhance and streamline our state data resources. The ideal candidate will coordinate system data models and designs to optimize data sharing and eliminate redundancies. You will collaborate with project managers, data stewards, and various stakeholders to implement effective data management practices.
Key Responsibilities
Data Coordination: Integrate system data models to promote sharing and efficiency in data usage across the state.Project Collaboration: Work closely with project managers to develop comprehensive project plans and technical solutions.Policy Development: Collaborate with data stewards to create and enforce Data Classification policies and standards.Metadata Management: Develop and maintain a metadata repository, documenting data structures and flow diagrams.Design Verification: Create and verify system-level designs to ensure compliance with established standards.Data Standards Enforcement: Define and enforce procedures to maintain data integrity, quality, and security.Information Architecture: Develop a cohesive Information Architecture Model in line with Enterprise Information Management.Statewide Data Modeling: Maintain an integrated statewide data model for seamless application interoperability.Configuration Management: Establish and manage configuration management processes and standards.Security Documentation: Document application controls to meet security requirements.Integration Facilitation: Ensure data integration within internal and external organizational frameworks.Software Recommendations: Evaluate software solutions to resolve issues and improve performance.Team Leadership: Facilitate team efforts during application consolidation, migration, or integration projects.Requirements Management: Gather and track requirements and issues related to IT solutions.Implementation Leadership: Lead the implementation of IT solutions, providing strategic recommendations to developers.Data Management Strategy: Develop a comprehensive data management strategy focused on security and retention.Facilitation of SDT Sessions: Organize and lead SDT sessions in a professional manner.Data Modeling Guidance: Provide expertise in data modeling, identifying entities, dependencies, and relationships.Infrastructure Recommendations: Analyze proposed infrastructure changes for feasibility and cost-effectiveness.Architecture Review: Review and validate Enterprise Architecture Solution Patterns and project management documents.Technical Validation: Ensure the architectural integrity of the application environment.
Qualifications
3+ years in Network Administration.5+ years with RHEL and Windows Server.3+ years of SQL experience.5+ years in systems documentation.Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with architectural tools such as Visio, LucidChart, or Draw.io.Web Administration: Experience with IIS, Apache, and WAF management.Application Architecture Exposure: Familiarity with AppServers like WebLogic, WebSphere, or JBoss.Database Architecture: Experience designing redundant and scalable database deployments (Oracle/MSSQL).Security Knowledge: Understanding of securing network, web applications, and databases.Programming Exposure: Proficient in at least one programming language (C#, Java, Python, Bash, PowerShell).CI/CD Experience: Familiarity with tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, and Veracode.Cloud Deployment: Experience designing for native/hybrid cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.IaaS/PaaS/SaaS Knowledge: Understanding of cloud deployment models.Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.Container Orchestration: Knowledge of Kubernetes or OpenShift.Cloudflare Familiarity: Experience with Cloudflare services is a plus.
