Hamilton-Ryker is seeking qualified ForkliftOperators to fill temp-to-hire positions in the shipping/receiving department of a manufacturing facility in Manchester, TN.
All Shifts Available1st Shift $16.48 an hour. (Mon.-Fri. 6am-2:30pm)& 2nd and 3rd Shift $17.51 an hour.(Mon.-Fri. 2pm-10:30 am & Sun.-Thur.10pm-6:30am)All Overtime is mandatory when called.
Responsibilities:Load and unload products from trailers using forklift trucks and all other material handling equipment plasticFollow company standards and legal regulations to ensure a safe and positive work atmosphere at all timesThe forklift operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicleSort, pack, wrap, tie and label products as per company proceduresMonitor and maintain accurate inventoryClean work area and equipment regularly by removing empty pallets and all other materials
Requirements:
High school education / GEDMust have reliable transportation2 years minimum forklift experienceAbility to organize and sort in detailGood communication skills, positive attitude, and team playerMust be able to work all assigned overtimeFollow written and verbal instructionsAbility to lift 40 lbs. frequently throughout the workdayMust be able to stand for long periods of time and to bend, twist, push and pull frequently throughout the workdayMust be at least 18 years old or olderComply with the clients Hamilton-Ryker's substance abuse policy
