Nuclear Medicine Technologist - (Nuclear Med Tech)
StartDate: 10/7/2024Available Shifts: 8 DPay Rate: $2057.30 - $2370.37
Nuc med Tech needed asap**Must have an active VA State license at submittal**Float to CDS = Cardiac Diagnostic Services (CDS) is a small cardiology imaging center 0.5 miles from the hospital, at 4660 Kenmore Ave. Alexandria VA. At this center they would be performing Myocardial perfusion Imaging (MPI). This imaging is also performed at the hospital.General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.): AHA BLSSpecialty certification requirements: Active VA state license, ARRT(N) or NMTCB certificationsExperience or 'Must have' skills?: 2 years experience, if they have hospital experience it is a plus. Must be able to start Ivs. Ok with first time traveler.Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: Stress testing-high emphasis. Cardiac Nuclear Stress, All general Nuclear Studies.Equip: Siemens Symbias, GE Hawkeye, and GE 850EMR: EPICPACS: VisageWill they have to float/cover any other areas? CDSwith a high emphasis on cardiacDo they have to start IVs? Yes, must be able to start IvsScrub Color/Dress Code: Black
