Starting pay is competitive and based on experience.
2nd and 3rd shift currently offers a $3 shift premium.
Duties include:
Work and support all material handling responsibilities for assigned department as described below.Use of powered industrial equipment/lift truck; stand-up reach truck, sit down forklift and electric walkie to move materials throughout department & plant.Accurately receive inbound raw materials and suppliesAccurately select and prepare frozen and freeze-dried orders as instructed.Accurately select orders for FedEx shipmentsFollow and lead by example in dock, facility, and personnel safety rules.Follow quality and housekeeping expectations.Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.Requirements
Previous material handling & forklift experienceRequired standing and walking during work shift.Ability to work in a zero degree freezer for 4-8 hours of the work day and exposure to cold temperatures dailyUse of hands for simple/firm grasping. Performs continuous repetitive hand motion.Frequent bending and stooping and reaching below waist and above shoulder level.Frequent lifting and carrying product from 5 pounds up to 50 pounds.Occasional kneeling/pushing/pulling.Proper use and donning of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.Works hours and overtime as required, this will include work on weekends. Hours are subject to change.Detail orientated
