Daily routes can be up to but not limited to 8 hours on the road. Responsible for driving a van or box truck to deliver product.Duties/Responsibilities:Safely operate a van or box truck for product delivery.Conduct daily vehicle inspections and complete the DVIR log.Always adhere to road rules and DOT regulations.Protect money and assets following cash handling guidelines.Promptly address delivery or customer concerns with the Distribution Supervisor.Ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation are in order before departure.Effectively communicate with customers, including pre-delivery calls and post-delivery updates.Collaborate with the Distribution and Sales teams on order-related issues.Provide top-tier customer service during each delivery.Review orders with customers, ensuring product accuracy and handling any rejections.Record customer payment details accurately for each delivery.Follow safety standards and report any vehicle issues or accidents to the supervisor.Ensure all delivery manifests are signed and compliance is maintained.
Required Skills/Abilities:Must have a positive and professional attitude, team playerMust maintain a high level of integrity, personal motivation, and sense of urgencyAbility to safely operate a delivery van in a variety of weather and traffic conditions.Reliability to show up on time and as scheduled is a must.Aptitude to learn and use new technologyMust be eligible to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorshipMust have valid driver's license with clean driving record, and valid insurance.Driver will be required to demonstrate proof of these documents on a regular basisMust enjoy drivingA Livescan Background Check will be required
Education and Experience:Must be 21 years of age1+ year of professional driving experience - preferred
Physical Requirements:Must have the ability to drive for up to 8 - 12 hours a day
