Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
- Pull orders of hospital supplies for doctors, nurses, and techs. Items include gloves, boxes of needles, surgical supplies, masks, gowns, and other PPE as needed.- Ensure product is fully stocked in the warehouse and replenished once picked through.- Walk throughout the hospital to hand-deliver supplies to areas such as ER departments, surgical offices, and rooms.- Place materials on racks, shelves, bins, or in refrigerated rooms according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code.- Occasionally assist in assembling certain parts if needed.Hard SkillsOrder pickingStock replenishmentMaterial placementBasic assemblySoft SkillsAttention to detailStrong communicationTeamworkCustomer serviceJob Type
-This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).Work Site
-This is a fully on-site position in Portland, Oregon.Work Environment
-Work throughout the hospital, with order picking in the basement and working on the dock where trucks pull up.-Interact with nurses, doctors, techs, and other hospital staff. May occasionally interact with patients.-Must wear a scrub top and other proper PPE as required by different hospital areas.-Shift: 6:00am-2:30 pm, including weekends with 2 consecutive days off.
